LAS VEGAS - Gangs are not just a problem on the streets. They are now branching out online, recruiting members through Twitter and Facebook. Experts say tech-savvy gangsters (lol) are also making threats, bragging about crimes, and networking through social media sites. "The bottom line is they're using MySpace, Twitter, Facebook to recruit guys, to recruit kids. They're recruiting kids at the second grade level," Southern Nevada Community Gang Task Force Co-Chairman Kevin Child said. [ link ]
