Seems like Feb. is Pres. Obama's annual "Face-Palm" Las Vegas month... for the second year in a row our nations president has kicked Las vegas under-the-bus..
Last year he encouraged bail-out recipients to NOT spend money on trips to Vegas, eeek... This Feb. he's made PRETTY MUCH the exact same fundamental mistake: Discourage people from coming to our tourism-reliant city! peep:
our mayor is a good man, or just a Goodman --- either way, he didnt take 2 kindly to Obama's suggestions... "I'll do everything i can to give him the boot back Washington and visit his failures back there" ... y'ouch! peep:

In a letter sent to Senator Harry Reid on Tuesday, the president denied he was "saying anything negative about Las Vegas." Obama said that his comment was meant for "families to use vacation money, not college tuition money, to have fun. The president praised Las Vegas as "one of our country's great destinations" and "no better place to have fun." Obama also told the senator he had "enjoyed" his previous visits to Las Vegas. The president is scheduled to make another visit to Sin City later this month.
